Martin Van Houzen is a lifetime resident of the Metropolitan Detroit Area and after graduating from law school has practiced his entire career in City, State and Federal Courts primarily in Southeastern Michigan. Martin Van Houzen has also tried cases throughout Michigan when jurisdiction requires it and has represented clients in trials in state courts from Monroe to Traverse City and from St. Joseph to Port Huron.
In addition to State of Michigan venues, Martin Van Houzen frequently represents clients in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Chicago Asylum Board and the EOIR Board of Immigration Appeals and Administration Appeals board in Washington DC.

Mike Essak is a resident of South East Michigan and has worked with Mr. Van Houzen in Immigration Law for more than 20 years. He is experienced in all aspects of Immigration Law and Family Reunification and Other Immigration Processes and Procedures.
Mr. Essak is fluent in both Arabic and English.
